A membership club with no programming, no networking, and no expectations. Somewhere to be. Nothing to do.
The café wants you to buy a second coffee or give up the table. The bar wants another round. The gym wants you moving. The co-working space wants you producing. Even the park bench has a plaque asking you to remember someone.
Loitering wants nothing. It's a room — a good one — where presence is the entire offering. No events calendar. No community manager. No icebreakers. Just a place that's glad you showed up and doesn't ask why.
Third places used to exist by accident. We're building one on purpose, and then leaving it alone.
“The product is a chair, the ambient hum of other people, and the total absence of an agenda.”
— The founding document, pg. 1 (of 1)All tiers include the same room, the same chairs, and the same complete lack of obligation. The differences are mostly spiritual.
You're not ready to commit, and honestly, we respect the loiter-adjacent lifestyle.
Come and go as you please. A chair with your name on it — not literally. We don't do plaques.
You were here when we arrived. You'll be here when we leave. A load-bearing member of the room.
Nothing. That's the product. Read, stare, exist near others. Some members report thinking. Results vary.
We can't stop you. But we'll be quietly disappointed, and eventually, so will you.
There is a kettle. It is communal. See amenity A-05 and adjust your hopes accordingly.
Cults have agendas. We have chairs. If we ever schedule anything, you have permission to worry.
Close enough to walk to. Far enough that nobody follows you. Members receive the address, a key code, and no further instructions.
The application is one question long: “Are you going to be weird about this?” Acceptable answers include “no” and “define weird.”
